About Me
Laurel Farrell is a Gulf Coast based artist and founder of Noteworthy, a brand dedicated to helping people connect through meaningful, heartfelt gifts and original art.
Born and raised in Pensacola, Florida, Laurel’s love for the coast runs deep. After earning her degree from the University of Alabama, she returned home to work in marketing and events. Noteworthy began as a side hustle in college, selling her artwork out of a spare bedroom. Then after a few years of working in marketing, she took the leap into full-time artistry, blending her eye for design with her passion for creating pieces that connect with people on a deeper level.
Laurel lives in Pensacola with her husband, Austin, and their two boys, Burton and Gus. Together, they’re always dreaming up a new DIY home project, but their happiest days are spent on the water- boating, swimming, shell hunting, fishing, or just walking on the sand, catching a sunset, and soaking up the beauty of Pensacola Beach.
Her artistic style is marked by rich texture, a mixture of different mediums, a soft and inviting color palette, and the luminous warmth of glowing golds. Every piece she creates is more than something beautiful to hang on a wall- it is a story, memory or feeling captured in art. Her pieces are made with purpose and intention, and they are meant to hold meaning for years to come.
